The Canon Mirrorless EOS R50

-The Investment

I bought me a camera… 😁  The Canon EOS R50- Mirrorless Creator Kit.

Have you ever bought something because you really wanted it, and also needed it… that’s how I felt about the Canon E0S R50.

I did A LOT of research on this camera before I purchased it. I watched endless reviews on YouTube that compared, recommended and provided specification on the Canon; all which helped me decide which camera to buy and the E0S R5O came out on top.

When it came down to me actually buying the camera, I procrastinated… it was my first camera so of course I had my reservations. I had, over the years mastered how to use my iPhone to take pictures and videos on projects, including editing, but knew I had to level up with the launching of Debonaire Creative, so purchasing a camera was a must. Don’t get me wrong, I have used camera’s before but the camera was always someone else’s, borrowed for projects or collaborating with other photographers… never actually owned my own camera and I didn’t have the consistency of using one. I was apprehensive… I did the whole “what if… and what about… maybe…” But then I remembered what I wanted to achieve; my objectives and goals as to why I wanted the camera in the first place and then I bought her, my ‘Can Can’, that’s what I call her. hehehe.

So what will I use my Canon EOS R50 for…? Well, the main reason I bought the camera is because, part of being a creative director, you want to capture the work you do. However, I also take BTS (Behind the Scene) shots for clients to use as part of their brand marketing & advertising, and of course use the footage to build my portfolio and promote my services.

So! With my Canon R50, I will capture creativity and empower innovation; for both me and my clients ☺️
